Nicki Minaj Comes Back to Twitter

That was quick. As we predicted, Nicki Minaj is returning to Twitter. While the ‘Starships’ singer has yet to issue an “I’m baaaack” tweet, her account, which she shut down over a week ago, is active (and full of pink) again. It was only a matter of time before the rapper returned to the social networking site, since it’s a crucial tool that provides a direct connection to fans.

Minaj stated a “voice” told her to 86 her Twitter account but she did hint in a recent chat that she was missing the communication with her Barbz. Guess the magnetic pull of 140-character postings and having digital conversations with her fans was too strong for her deny.

That and the fact that ‘Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded’ is the earliest phases of promotion and benefits from Minaj’s presence on Twitter. Now is not the time to go silent and Minaj probably realized the error of her ways. She had axed her account because she was mad at a fan site sharing music, albeit legally.
