Parking and Shuttle Information for the 2016 Dragon Boat Festival

Barker's Island in Superior will host the 15th annual Dragon Boat Festival next weekend, August 26th and 27th, the event draws thousands of spectators and participants and parking is limited on the island.

Superior officials are urging people to take the free shuttle that is available on the southwest side of the Mariner Mall, from 4:00 p.m. to 11:59 p.m. on Friday and from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. on Saturday.

Access to the businesses on the island will be accessible during normal business hours. But the boat launch, swimming beach, and fishing platform will be closed Friday and Saturday.
