Polar Bear Plunge 2012

And 1,2,3……Plunge! Oh boy that water is COLD, but what a great time and all for a fantastic cause. We at Mix 108 along with our Sister stations were so proud to be a sponsor of this year’s Polar Bear plunge.
This was the 3rd time I had participated and I must say I am awfully impressed by how it get’s bigger and bigger every year. Here are the stats: 1,o42 Plungers and over $170,000 raised for The Special Olympics of MN!
It is truly a badge of honor to jump into Lake Superior in February, and for those of you that said….ahh it was not that bad, I salute you. I could not get out of the water fast enough. All in all we really lucked out with the weather, a great crowd was down at the plunge and it was a total blast. Great job to all involved, and congratulations Northland for making this the biggest plunge statewide!
