Powerboat Races are Coming to Superior This Weekend [VIDEO]

If you want to see some fast action on the water, Barkers Island in Superior is the place to be this weekend.

The AMSOIL Powerboat Championships will have roughly 60 boats racing with speeds up to 140 miles per hour around an oval track. The weather is predicted to be sunny and above average temperatures, so spectators should enjoy a nice day of outdoor racing. The event is free and open to the public, but there is a $5 fee for parking. This is sure to be a great family event for years to come.
