The second community meeting will be held next week to discuss the future of two parks and the public is welcomed to join and even voice their opinions.

The  meeting will take place next Tuesday, November 10th from 5:30-7:00 pm at the Harrison Community Center in West End (3002 W 3rd Street). The purpose of the meeting is to review a draft plan for Lincoln Park based on input gathered at the August 25th meeting. There will also be input from attendees on the final draft plans for Memorial Park at the meeting as well.

These two parks are also qualifiers for the Grand Avenue Parks Fund. The Fund invests in community partnerships with user groups and residents to co-create and co-manage outdoor recreation experiences in the neighborhoods along the River Corridor. The Grand Avenue Parks Fund will provide 1:1 match grants up to $500,000 per park.

So if you would to hear about what's going on with the two parks or would like to voice your own opinion, feel free to attend the meeting next Tuesday.
