Both Halloween and the cold winter months are approaching as we remember the snow storm in late October 25 years ago.

The tricks were frozen as Duluthians woke up surprised with snow everywhere. Some wintery weather was expected, but no one knew what was to come.  In just three days the snow totaled up 36.8 inches. It's one of those crazy weather events that people still talk about to this day.

The snow busted through my grandpa's Park Point window in the sun room and went everywhere. Businesses even had to shut down due to the weather. Check out the video above to check out a mix of homemade videos and news reports from the very cold fall day. Even a younger Barbara Reyelts makes an appearance.
