Options for dining out in the Duluth Superior area have expanded a lot recently, with big players like Chipotle and Dunkin Donuts coming into the Twin Ports. Now a report suggests another chain may be looking to open in Duluth.

Local business blog CDINDuluth is reporting that popular pizza chain Pizza Ranch may have plans to get into the Duluth market as they continue to expand the company. They even suggest in the blog that they may have a location open in the area by the end of 2015.

UPDATE (9/16/15): CDINDuluth confirms Pizza Ranch's plans to open in Duluth with representation from the company. Representatives did not give an exact opening date, but the confirmation suggests the location will open sometime this fall. The company did not confirm the location, however CDINDuluth and multiple reports from our Facebook page suggest it will be at the former Party America location.

According to the blog, the former Party America location in the Stone Ridge Shopping Center (1025  West Central Entrance) is the likely location. This would place the restaurant in the same complex as OfficeMax and Michael's, around the corner from the Sprint Store. While the blog states that they don't have confirmation from the company, they claim site work has already begun with a target open date this winter.

Pizza Ranch is a midwestern-based pizza chain that focuses on both dine-in and delivery options with a buffet being offered in many locations. They currently have regional locations in Hibbing, Brainerd, Little Falls, and several other locations in Southern and Western Minnesota.
