Ryan Reynolds, We Haven’t Forgotten About You – The Daily Swoon
Just where the hell has Ryan Reynolds been lately? Even though he’s been absent for a while, that doesn’t mean we’ve forgotten how cute he is. Especially without a shirt on.
We’ve loved him since he first popped up as the wacky, clever leading man (adjectives that could describe many of his roles) in ‘Van Wilder,’ but he and his abs have also proven worth their salt in dramatic movies like the ‘Amityville Horror’ remake and the claustrophobic thriller ‘Buried.’
And 2011 was a big year for Reynolds, who starred in the comedy ‘The Change-Up’ and as the titular hero in ‘Green Lantern,’ but then last year we only saw him once, in the action thriller ‘Safe House,’ before he sort of disappeared for a while. Sure, he went off and married actress Blake Lively, but how much time do you need to hang out after your wedding? Get you and your abs back to work, dammit! We miss you!
He has a few movies coming out this year — ‘R.I.P.D.’ is a horror comedy about zombie police officers, and then there’s ‘Turbo‘ and ‘The Croods,’ but those two are animated films, so we don’t even get to see him. Ugh, Hollywood, get it together.
