School-Aged Weather Kid and Aspiring TV Weatherman Steals the Forecast at a Fargo TV Station [VIDEO]
In a regular Thursday evening news feature on KVLY TV in Fargo, North Dakota, school students between the ages of 8 and 18 have the opportunity to appear with as a part of the weather segment and take part in the delivery of the forecast. This 9 year old's forecast caught the eyes of the internet and big names in the TV industry.
William Hallman, who is an elementary school student at a Fargo area school appeared last week with KVLY meteorologist Hutch Johnson and William stole the show from Hutch. William seemed more than comfortable in font of the camera, even with the difficulty of working with a green screen for the first time.
According to KVLY, William's performance grabbed the attention of Al Roker. As the story goes, Roker extended an invitation to William to join him in New York for an episode of the Today Show. No word on if or when he will appear.
