See How they Dye the Chicago River Green Each Year for St. Patricks Day [VIDEO]

The revelry of St. Patricks Day is behind us for another year, but the clean up still continues through today as cities all over the United States do a major clean up, except for the people who are in charge of dying the Chicago River Green, it will stay that way for a few more days.

St. Patricks Day was always a big occasion at our house given the fact both my Mom and Dad were full blooded Irish, and with my mom growing up in Chicago she always loved to talk about when they died the river green.

I have been in the windy city for a few St. Patricks Days and it is second to none, and seeing the river flow an emerald green is truly spectacular. Go big or go home is definitely more of a catch phrase for one of my favorite cities!
