Ugh. $32,000 Kids Birthday Party? Really?

I was watching one of my shows (My Strange Addiction) when I saw a preview for an upcoming new show called "Outrageous Kid Parties."  It's like My Sweet 16--but worse.  Take Nicole, for example.  She spent $32,000 on a party for her daughter Gracie.  Yes, that was $32,000!!!!  The astonishing costs include $3,000 on invitations, and $2,100 on a nine-tier cake.  Now, it's not that I don't love my kids and would give them the world, but WHAT??  Um, WHAT???  What are these parents teaching their kids?  Granted I may think that's a bit overboard, but I'm not a millionaire.  If I was, I'm sure $32,000 would be a drop in the bucket.  But still, these parents have to realize how ridiculous this is...right?
