“Slide The City” is Coming to Duluth [VIDEO]

On July 25'th one of our very hilly streets is going to be converted into a giant slip and slide and it is all for a great cause.

The Duluth Fire Department is sponsoring the first ever "Slide the City" event which will have a 1,000 foot water slide that is 27 feet wide.  They are setting up the water slide on 12th Avenue East from 2nd Street down to the Rose Garden.  The event  is raising money for Operation Warm, which provides warm winter jackets for kids in need.
