Spelling Bee Certificate Had Spelling Error

A Middle School student in Richardson Texas was given a certificate for winning a Spelling Bee, but ironically the word Spelling had only one l in it. ....Doh! After further investigation from the school it was found that the certificate was printed pre- spell-check .  I wonder how much grief that person has been getting in the teachers lounge?  And they say students are becoming dumbed down from spell-check.
