The SS Meteor and the Old Firehouse and Police Museum in Superior are ready to open for the summer season and are celebrating with free admission and treats.

Both museums are returning to their summer hours and on Sunday, May 20th the public can enjoy free tours, cake, coffee, and punch from Noon until 4 pm.

The SS Meteor is located on Barker’s Island. The Old Firehouse and Police Museum is located at 402 23rd Avenue East in Superior.

The SS Meteor is the world's last remaining above-water Whaleback ship and is open for tours Mid-May thru Last Weekend in August.

Built in 1898, the Old Firehouse originally housed five horse-drawn rigs, including the city’s first steamer and is the last of Superior’s nineteenth-century fire halls.
