St. Luke’s Hospital Voted One of The Best in Minnesota for Having a Baby

St. Luke's hospital got honored today as one of the best places in the county and the state of Minnesota to have a baby. 

The Women’s Choice Award recognized 14 hospitals in Minnesota and St. Luke's was the only Duluth hospital to receive the award. They picked the best in the country for obstetrics care, which is based on patient recommendations reported by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

The hospital also scored well for having a neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) on-site, low rates of early elective deliveries, as well as being above the national average for patient safety.
