Star Wars 3D Release Date

We knew it was coming but didn't know exactly when, now we do, Star Wars fans mark your calendar for Febuary 10th, 2012.

'Star Wars: Episode I The Phantom Menace' will be released for the first time in 3D and will be the first of six Star Wars movies released in 3D, one a year starting next year.

Unfortunately most fans regard Episode I as the worst of the Star Wars movies, I agree with that, besides a few scenes, this movie is not good. Jar-Jar Binks anyone? I for one can't wait to see Mr. Binks udder such memorable lines as:

Mesa day startin pretty okee-day with a brisky morning munchy, then BOOM! Gettin very scared and grabbin that Jedi and POW! Mesa here! Mesa gettin' very very scared!

Oh goodie! I'm a little worried this journey into 3D Star Wars may not be as great as hoped, remember there is a big difference between converting a movie into 3D vs. shooting a movie with new 3D technology.

May the force be with them, I hope it works.  I'm sure I will be there at the midnight showing with goofy glasses on giggling like a little school girl.
