Starbucks has announced plans to close all 379 of its Teavana stores including one at Miller Hill Mall in Duluth.

According to CNBC, All Teavana stores plan to be closed by Spring of 2018 due to underperforming. The tea shop has been selling tea to Duluthians for the last five years. Starbucks bought Teavana back in 2012, and the only good news for tea lovers is the coffee chain will continue selling Teavana-branded products in its stores.

In an article from CNN Money, Starbuck said Teavana employees will be invited to apply for jobs at Starbucks locations in order to preserve their jobs. Unfortunately tea time is over for Teavana, let me know what you think about the close in the comments.
