Street Sweeping Planned for Duluth This Week

The city of Duluth is cleaning up some streets this week ahead of Grandma's Marathon and will need to close some streets to get it done.

The city is planning to do some street sweeping on Tuesday, June 5th and Wednesday, June 6th if needed.

The following areas will be marked as no parking and work will get underway around 7 am :

• 3rd Street from 21st Ave E. to Mesaba Ave
• 2nd Street from Mesaba Ave to 21st Ave E.
• 1st Street from 21st Ave to 12th Ave E.
• Michigan Street will be swept prior to the start of Grandma's Marathon.

The public is asked to please pay attention to parking signs to avoid getting a parking ticket.
