Superior Lowers Garbage Fee for Homeowners

The City of Superior is lowering the garbage fee for homeowners starting on January 1st.

According to the Superior Telegram, the City Council voted to replace an ordinance that would have increased the cost for everyone to $9.75 per can, or a $2 increase per month.

Instead, the cost per can will go down to $7.25, $.50 less than the current rate.

The story is different for large residential units and small businesses, the cost will be raised to $9 per can.
