March 14, 2011 12:58 PM Jeanne and I had the pleasure of welcoming 1017′s Solomon Witherspoon and Russ King in the studio on March 10th. They opened for Three 6 Mafia at Clyde Iron Works that night. I really can’t get over how great Russ is on his monster keyboard, and Solomon, well, he rocked out a new jingle for Jeanne and me. I saw the show that night, and it was amazing.
They are a fantastic band with local ties, and I can’t wait to see them in concert backing Grammy Nominated Syleena Johnson on May 13th at Pantages Theater in Minneapolis!
