We hear about hazing rituals all the time in Colleges, which sometimes end up with tragic results, but in Major League Sport trams the hazing takes on a whole new meaning. These poor guys are never going to live this down.

I was an orchestra geek at one point in my life, which is probably why this is one of my favorite covers of Carly Rae Jepsen's "Call Me Maybe."  Aside from the one when all the male models sing without shirts.

Carly Rae Jepsen has had a busy summer thanks to her No. 1 hit song 'Call Me Maybe.' And now that the season is winding down, she decided to hop on over to 'The Ellen Degeneres Show' to talk about the song and her new album 'Kiss,' out earlier this week (Sept. 18).

Carl Rae Jepsen probably made enough cash and buzz off of ‘Call Me Maybe’ to sustain her for a lifetime, but not necessarily to sustain her stans for that long. The good news for fans of the preternaturally youthful 26-year-old? Snippets of her album ‘Kiss’ hit the Web, and they were pretty good. The bad news? They got yanked pretty swiftly by Universal Music Group.

Now, her album is ready to drop on Sept. 18, so get your smacker ready for a ‘Kiss’ from CRJ.

Good news for Carly Rae Jepsen, but not the kind that’ll get her in Lady Gaga‘s good graces. CRJ’s hit single ‘Call Me Maybe’ enjoyed its eighth week at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. It matches Gotye’s record for longest stint at No. 1 so far this year. He nabbed that stat with ‘Somebody That I Used to Know.’
