One thing on my geek bucket list is going to Disney's Hollywood Studios Star Wars Weekends, it's a yearly tradition or should I say nerd gathering to celebrate all things Star Wars, and now that Star Wars is officially a Disney brand, the company is going all out this year and they're promoting it with a series of great ads.

For the first time ever, Disney on Ice is coming to the City of Duluth. To commemorate the inaugural visit, Mickey Mouse will pay a visit to City Hall at 1 p.m. on Thursday. There, Duluth Mayor Don Ness is proclaiming November 29, 2012 as “Disney on Ice Day” in Duluth. It will also be the opening night for Disney on Ice Celebrates 100 Years of Magic at the DECC.

'The Lion King' Roaring Back Into Theaters in 3-D

This week, Disney announced plans to re-release its Oscar-winning animated feature, 'The Lion King,' in 3-D this fall.

According to reports, the 3-D version will hit theaters on September 16, 2011, about 17 years after its original theatrical release, in 1994.

'One Man Disney Movie' Is Pure Disney Magic

We've seen a lot of great stuff on YouTube before, but nothing quite as epic as Nick Pitera's brand-new viral video, titled 'One Man Disney Movie.'

In it, the soon-to-be Internet celebrity voices six different parts -- heroine, sidekick, hero, chorus, villain and another chorus -- as he tackles some of Disney's most memorable songs, from 'Beauty and the Beast's' 'Be Our Guest' to 'When You Wish Upon a Star' from 'Pinocchio.'

We could go on and on about how epic it is (there are even costume changes involved) but we'd rather stop typing and let you watch it for yourself. It is, after all, eight-plus minutes long.
