As the 2013 Grammys begin winding down, the biggest awards start to be handed out, and Record of the Year is certainly no exception.

Good news for Carly Rae Jepsen, but not the kind that’ll get her in Lady Gaga‘s good graces. CRJ’s hit single ‘Call Me Maybe’ enjoyed its eighth week at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. It matches Gotye’s record for longest stint at No. 1 so far this year. He nabbed that stat with ‘Somebody That I Used to Know.’

Goyte‘s smash hit ‘Somebody That I Used to Know’ will be honored by the release of a new album featuring 10 remixes of the song.

Gotye hit it out of the park with his song "Somebody that I used to know", and the Internet is full of remixes, but this particular video really made me chuckle. What a talented dog! Oh yeah, and I will give props to the cat too.

I'm still waiting for one of my three kids to amaze me with some sort of musical talent.  Unfortunately, they must have my musical genes.

Gotye did more than just sing during his stint as musical guest on ‘Saturday Night Live‘ this weekend. The Belgian-Australian multi-instrumentalist also got in a little acting through a digital short with Andy Samberg and Taran Killam.
