Hot on the heels of Lady Gaga‘s Twitter account being hacked, singer Nelly Furtado has also fallen victim to hacking. Where as Gaga was “offering” an iPad2 to all of her followers in the spirit of the season, Furtado’s fake tweet, which has since been removed from her feed, offered Mac Book laptops. Nelly Furtado, Beyonce' and now Mariah Carey have issued official statements explaining and apologizing for performing for embattled Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi.

Mariah did a concert in 2006 in the Caribbean in which she was paid $1 Million from Gaddafi, according to her publicist that money has now been donated to a charity. See the official statement from the diva after the break.
