New Movies: ‘Warm Bodies,’ ‘Bullet to the Head’ and ‘Stand Up Guys’
It's Super Bowl weekend, traditionally not a huge one at theaters, but this weekend sees three new films all going for different audiences at our local Marcus Theatres. One is a supernatural-teen tale reminiscent of 'Twilight,' the next brings a longtime action star in for another round, and the last is crime story featuring three very fine actors.

It's a busy time at the movies these days. Studios are trying to get all their releases in before the December 31 Oscar deadline, and they're also vying for your precious holiday dollar. This week's offerings at our local Marcus Theatres include a few that came out on Christmas—Quentin Tarantino's latest, an adaptation of a much loved musical, a family comedy, and a documentary about the justice system—and the first collaboration between Matt Damon and Gus Van Sant since 'Good Will Hunting,' due out Friday.

A Twilight Fan Review of “Breaking Dawn Part 2″
November 16, 2012 You may have heard our movie critic, Willie Waffle, give the last installment of the Twilight Saga "Breaking Dawn Part 2" a lousy 1 1/2 Waffles. No disrespect to Mr. Waffle, but he has no idea what he's talking about. Willie did say that it was the best of the five Twilight movies, but I wanted to give my own review. From one Twilight fan to another, I'm betting that you'll trust me more than a man who admits that he doesn't read, and certainly hasn't read any of the Twilight books. He doesn't understand imprinting, and that may have lead to his uninformed review.
