The show is just like "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" for restaurants.  Only the host is from England and has bigger muscles, the budget is only $10,000, and they have only two days to complete the renovation/transformation.

Apparently Lady Gaga is opening a restaurant on the Upper West Side of Manhattan with her father.  The business was closed a few months after she came on as an Investor, but according to sources, they will open a new restaurant in the same spot named after Lady Gaga's Aunt Joanne, whom she was named after.
