March 27, 2013 As a music lover, modest techie, and worker in the radio industry, electronics and headphones play a major role in my daily life. Wearing headphones for at least 3-4 hours a day for my job, I am always looking for new options in contrast to the traditional "cans" you see people wearing at a radio station.
Is it possible to hate something and yet, at the same time, recognize its greatness? This is a heavy philosophical question and one that I'd like to discuss with you. Anything to get these insufferably catchy tunes from 'Les Miserables' out of my head.
‘One More Night,’ the second single from Maroon 5‘s ‘Overexposed’ (out June 26) is just dropping, while the first single ‘Payphone’ remains in the Top 5 of the radio chart leaderboad. It’s certainly the familiar pop-rock sound that we’ve come to experience and expect from Adam Levine and his bandmates. But there’s a bit of a reggae style infused into the percussion, giving the song a more dancey feel.
There is merely one week until ‘Believe’ lands. We know, Beliebers, we know. It’s an eternity and cruel and unusual punishment to have to wait one second more for Justin Bieber‘s new album to drop. We’re right there with you, bursting with anticipation. Luckily for the Belieber nation, the new song ‘As Long As You Love’ me featuring Big Sean has dropped. The good news? It sounds nothing like ‘Boyfriend’ or ‘Die In Your Arms’ or ‘All Around the World.’ It’s unique and different unto itself. The bad news? There is no bad news, unless you are a Belieber who had to wait for the song to drop on iTunes.
No one can ever say Kanye West is boring. His latest single “Theraflu” has created a lot of buzz and controversy for implying he and Kim Kardashian were hooking up while she was married to Nets power forward Kris Humphries. We don’t think anyone is more excited than this dude.
March 24, 2011 Have you seen this thing yet? Verizon Wireless has come out with their very own tablet to rival the Pear Pad. (Sorry, I have kids. That's an iCarly reference in case you didn't catch it.) It's everything I want my phone to do...but bigger and MORE! It's the Motorola Xoom. My new best friend.
