June 29, 2012 One of the places on my summer check list is another trip to the Adventure Park at Spirit Mountain, it's the closest you'll come to the stomach turning, adrenaline pumping fun of a major amusement park north of the Twin Cities.
August 9, 2011 Spirit Mountain officially opened its latest attraction today, the "Timber Flyer" zip line. The ride has been thrilling riders since last week, but today was the big official "Grand Opening" complete with a Mayor, a Senator and a red ribbon for them to cut.
It was a gloomy morning with some spotty showers for those in attendance, like Duluth Mayor Don Ness, State Senator Roger Reinert and the Duluth Chamber of Commerce, but the weather didn't dampen the excitement of everyone ready to experience Duluth's newest thrill ride!
