The basis of the survey was "Sticky Fingers." Apparently American Tourists feel that when they are at a hotel it is free reign to take what ever they please.

So says Slate, anyway, which recently compiled data from Rotten Tomatoes, a site that generates reviews from movie critics based on a "fresh" and "rotten" scale. Hewitt's review score averaged a depressing 18.9 percent, thanks to movies like 'Sister Act 2: Back in the Habit,' 'I Still Know What You Did Last Summer' and the much-maligned 'Garfield' movies.
