The forecast looks good for some fishing this weekend, so why not take a kid fishing?

Today through Sunday, Minnesotans 16 or older who take a child 15 or younger fishing don't need a license to put a pole in the water.

In Minnesota, children under the age of 15 don’t need a fishing license any time of the year. Many state parks have fishing gear that can be borrowed.
