If you've been on Facebook for awhile, you probably remember the days of Facebook's news feed being so much more simple. Things were in chronological order, and there weren't any "algorithms" telling you what you should see and when you should see it. While we can't fix that completely, we can offer a good piece of advice to see the things most important to you first in your feed.

This works for both pages (like the MIX 108 page) and for actual personal profiles. It's really simple to do, and it will ensure you see the things most important to you first - like posts from your family (or, of course, our posts from our page).

Here's what you need to do:

  • 1

    Follow the page or person

Make sure you are following the page or person by clicking the "follow" button.

  • 2

    Select "See First"

Once you've followed someone, hover over the "following" button, and you'll see a menu. Select "see first" to see their most recent posts at the top of your news feed.

    Get Notified

You can also turn notifications on. This will let you know when they go live on Facebook Live Video or if they have an important event or happening with a notification via Facebook on the web or on your smartphone.
