Target will join the growing group of retailers that accept contactless payments.

The Minnesota based retailer announced today that all stores will start accepting Apple Pay, Google Pay and Samsung Pay, plus “contactless cards” from Mastercard, Visa, American Express and Discover.

“Offering guests more ways to conveniently and quickly pay is just another way we’re making it easier than ever to shop Target,” said Mike McNamara, Target’s chief information officer.

Those of you who have used this type of payment before will be familiar with how it works, in case you are unfamiliar with the process, Target released the following graphic to help with the process.

Walgreens, Walmart, Cub Foods, these are all places that I've used this method of payment and it is easy as could be, try it out sometime, it's especially useful when you forget a wallet or purse.
