Colton Haynes follows in the male acting tradition of bulking up to portray a sexy werewolf character, this time for MTV's 'Teen Wolf.' We recently got a taste of his newly-chiseled abs when he revealed them to his 'Teen Wolf' producer Jeff Davis, who then put on the show's Tumblr for the whole world to see (and there's nothing creepy about that).

Haynes is now a part of the forever-lengthening line of hunky werewolves who give the emo vampires a run for their money. Though he's one of the newest, he may not be the sexiest. To determine who is, we must take a look back on some of the men he's succeeding.

  • Colton Haynes

    'Teen Wolf'

Haynes got a taste of what it felt like to be on the big screen in the first 'Transformers' movie, where he played the role of “Cafe kid.” From there he performed in a slew of TV shows with major parts in 'The Gates' and 'Look,' neither of which you're expected to know. We're all thankful though that he got to be a regular in 'Teen Wolf' 'cause we're definitely not that excited to see the kid from 'Maid in Manhattan' as the lead.

  • Taylor Hoechlin

    'Teen Wolf'

Taylor Hoechlin is another hot, half-wolf creature on 'Teen Wolf,' who might actually be hotter than Haynes. It all depends on what you like — Haynes is for the lovers of slimmer, surfer-type bods and Hoechlin is for the muscle chasers.

  • Taylor Lautner

    'Twilight Saga'

“Oh my, God. It's Jacob!” You all knew it was coming. Taylor Lautner is definitely one of the hottest werewolves to ever hit the big or small screens, but there's still something off about him. Even though he has the body tons of guys would kill for, Lautner's face is still that of a 19-year-old, which is his actual age. So, it's the head of a guy in his late teens placed on the body of what looks like a 25- to 30-year-old man. Creepy, no?

  • Joe Manganiello

    'True Blood'

Joe Manganiello is 100 percent manly man. He doesn't even have to take his shirt off to melt every heart in the room, but simply has to say, in a quiet, throaty hush, “Sookie.” If this guy would be the one to rescue us, we'd all have assumed the damsel in distress role a long time ago.

  • Michael Trevino

    'The Vampire Diaries'

There's a lot of competing for hotness in 'The Vampire Diaries,' but Michael Trevino doesn't have to try that hard. Since becoming a werewolf on The CW show, he's bulked up his swimmer's bod physique to look more like someone who can really pack a punch.

  • Brandon Quinn

    'Big Wolf on Campus'

Any child of the early '90s should remember Fox Family Channel's 'Big Wolf on Campus,' unless you were like most people who didn't care to watch bad television. Bradley Quinn starred in this short-lived TV series as the boyishly handsome jock who turns into an freaky wolf-human hybrid. The show didn't really grasp the concept that werewolves are supposed to be shirtless most of the time, and that's probably why it failed.

  • Jason Behr

Jason Behr was a heart throb back in the days of 'Roswell,' when he played a sexy alien. He never really lost that sex appeal, either. It just shifted into more of a bad boy vibe around the release of 'Skinwalkers.' Even if you're not really a fan of horror movies, it's is definitely one to watch over and over for the scenes where Behr unleashes his inner animal.
