The 122nd Carlton County Fair Returns to Barnum This Weekend

It's back!   The 122nd Carlton County Fair!  Yes, it's the 122nd year!  As long as I can remember, I have looked forward to the fair every year.  Getting a wristband and riding every ride I can, going through the 4H exhibits, fair food, BINGO, and the people watching.  After the flooding happened in June, photos of water up to the gates of the Carlton County Fairgrounds in Barnum went viral, and a lot of people were wondering if there would be a fair this year.  On June 22nd, two days after the flood, this was posted by the Carlton County Fair Facebook administrators:

Well the Flood will not stop the Fair!! We have 55 days to the fair and we have A LOT of clean up. The south side of the fair is still a lake. Water in all the buildings and in the race track... but we will get it ready.

And it's ready!  See you at the fair!
