We are so lucky in the Twin Ports to have such beautiful areas besides Lake Superior to see waterfalls and beautiful forest trails, but their are quite a few gems up the North Shore that you might want to check out as well.

Of course this time of year exploring waterfalls could be an iffy situation and could make getting to them even harder. So, If you are not quite that adventurous, when the weather warms up you definitely want to add these to your list.

1.) Gooseberry Falls: 3 levels of water falls and easy access from the parking lot, makes this i great stop anytime of the year.

2.) High Falls and Illegen Falls (Tettegouche State Park): Short hiking distance to either of these.

3.)Falls at George H. Crosby Manitou State Park-An inland park with about a mile hike.

4.) Temperance River Falls -These falls flow right under the highway, so make an ideal quick stop to take a few pictures on move on.

5.) Cascades (Cascade River State Park) -This park alone has enough waterfalls to make an entire day out of it.

6.) The Devil’s Kettle & Upper Falls (Judge C.R. Magney State Park) -These breathtaking falls might quickly become your favorite of the bunch.

7.) The High Falls (Pigeon River – Grand Portage State Park)-The highest Falls in the state on the Minnesota/Canada border this last stop is truly breathtaking.
