‘The Lion King’ Roaring Back Into Theaters in 3-D

This week, Disney announced plans to re-release its Oscar-winning animated feature, ‘The Lion King,’ in 3-D this fall.
According to reports, the 3-D version will hit theaters on September 16, 2011, about 17 years after its original theatrical release, in 1994.
Disney added that ‘The Lion King’ will only play in theaters for two weeks, before it’s released on Blu-ray 3-D on Oct 4.
