The Minnesota Vikings announced today that they will host the Jacksonville Jaguars for joint training camp practices.

The Vikings will kick-off their first training camp at the new Twin Cities Orthopedics Performance Center on July 24th.

The Vikes and the Jags are scheduled to play a preseason game on Saturday, August 18th, at U.S. Bank Stadium and the teams will practice together on Wednesday, August 15th, and Thursday, August 16th.

The last time the Vikings hosted a joint practice at training camp was back in 2007 with the Kansas City Chiefs at Minnesota State University in Mankato.

Fans will be able to attend the joint practices but will need to reserve tickets in advance on Vikings.com, as will be the case for the entirety of the Vikings Training Camp at TCO Performance Center.

The trash talking has already started for the get-together, Vikings CB Xavier Rhodes got on Facetime with Jags LB Telvin Smith for a little smack talking.
