Hands down the movie "Fargo" is one of my Top 10 favorite movies of all time. The dark humor and raging Minnesota accents cannot be beat.

Of course for some residents of Minnesota they resent the exaggerated accent, to which I say  just relax. Some people in parts of the state do actually talk like that, and it put a giant beacon on the land of 10,000 lakes. A good friend of mine actually had the crew from the film in his house for a week shooting, and the kitchen scene when Marge needs her car jumped was filmed in their house.

Even though the film is called Fargo, we all know it was filmed in Minnesota. This is definitely one of those films I like to bust out on a hot summer day, because some of the outdoor scenes are brutal and it makes me feel grateful for the warm weather.
