Songs come and go, but ones that help you spell out words leave a long lasting impression. Here are my top 10 songs that have helped us spell.

    'Dinosaur' - Ke$ha

Oh how we have missed the sweet sound's of Ke-dollar sign-ha and where would we be without her jam of old men hitting on her and her friends? Probably in the very same spot you are right now reading this list. Thank you Ke$ha for helping us spell D-I-N-O-S-A-U-R and telling us about all old man burns you have written about.

    'Izzo (H.O.V.A.)' - Jay-Z

The first song off his Blueprint album was Izzo and one of his most popular hits. The song is used to use izzle language and to spell out H-O-V-A, which refers to a nickname he has given himself, 'Jayhova'.

    'Fergalicious' - Fergie

Oh the 'Dutchess', has Fergie released another album yet? No? Well, hopefully there's one soon. How could we forget her t-t-t-t-t-tasty, tasty hit? Not only does she help us spell her name, but then Will.I.Am comes in to help spell out 'T to the A, to the S-T-E-Y' and 'D to the E, to the L-I-C-I-O-U-S'.

    'Move' - Luke Bryan

Had to through a little country on the list (you're welcome Josh). Thankfully for Luke Bryan, his fan base now knows how to spell 'M-O-V-E'. It's a catchy tune and is about a Northern girl who moves to the South.

    'R.O.C.K. In The U.S.A.' - John Mellancamp

Helping Americans spell both 'R-O-C-K' and 'U-S-A', it's like an unofficial National Anthem. The song was subtitled 'A Salute to 60's Rock' and it's a classic.

    'Independent' - Webbie

A song I still sing today every time I have to spell out 'I-N-D-E-P-E-N-D-E-N-T'. It's the most successful song from Webbie, Lil' Boosie, and Lil' Phat and the song even sampled one of Webbie's previous songs.

    'Yoda' - Weird Al

A parody version of 'Lola' by The Kinks, this song helped us spell our favorite green Jedi 'Y-O-D-A' and even 'S-O-D-A' towards the beginning of the song. This song has been one of my favorites songs since I was a kid and I always break out in song when ever I hear someone say "Yoda".

'Saturday Night' - Bay City Rollers

'S-A-T-U-R-D-A-Y' is a great way to start a song about one of your favorite nights of the week. The song may have came out in the 70's, but it is still sung and spelled out today.

    'Hollaback girl' - Gwen Stefani

Whoa, this list is bananas, 'B-A-N-A-N-A-S'. I ain't no hollaback blogger, but I will admit this song is one of my guilty pleasures. My wife refuses to have me come with through the produce section at the grocery store, because I always start singing this song. So close to number one, but not close enough.

    'Respect' - Aretha Franklin

"Sock it to me", how could Aretha teaching us how to spell 'R-E-S-P-E-C-T' not be number one on this list? Two years after Otis Redding released the song, Aretha worked her magic and re-imagined the hit.
