This is the first winter in over 10 years that I do not have a car starter in my car, so I admit I have been a bit lazy when it comes to brushing snow and Ice off of my car, that is until now.

Jeff Cote from New Hampshire had a dash cam running in his vehicle when the unthinkable happened.  An SUV in front of him on the highway had a large piece of Ice break off the roof of their vehicle and slam into Jeff's windshield.

Many of us would have panicked and possibly crashed, but fortunately Jeff was able to stay cool calm and collected and was not injured. This really made me think of how awful I would feel if due to my neglect of cleaning off my car someone could be seriously injured or killed.

This is a lesson learned, clean your car off as best you can, especially ice!
