It looks as though TLC's hugely popular "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo" TV series won't be going away anytime soon.

The Learning Channel, once known as "a place for learning minds", is doubling down on its wildly successful reality TV series following the Thompson family and famous daughter Alana "Honey Boo Boo" Thompson. Honey Boo Boo rose to fame after her appearance on TLC's "Toddlers and Tiaras", prompting a spinoff show.

TLC announced today (September 26) that it has ordered more episodes of the series that will go to air next spring. Beside an extension of the popular series into 2013, TLC also wants you to be able to spend your holidays with Honey Boo Boo and her family. The network has ordered holiday specials from the Thompson family. Among the specials will be a Halloween show along with Thanksgiving and Christmas episode.
