Today is National Dress Up Your Pet Day

People love their pets, and also like to dress them in funny costumes. Obviously this is for the humans pleasure not the dog or cat, but now we have a day especially for them, and it is today!

When I was a kid I had a Golden Retriever named Maggie who was the best dog ever. She was super loyal and mellow and I took full advantage of this and used to put some of my clothes on her, like shorts and a t-shirt. I would only leave them on for a quick picture and then took them off since she did not really enjoy it.

We have 2 dogs and 2 cats and I would not even think of putting a costume or dress up our cats, but the dogs well we have bought stuff in the past like little dresses and we even had bought a winter parka for our Shih Tzu. Wow, what were we thinking? She wore it for a total of 60 seconds.
