Get your shoes on kids, (adults too!)  it's National Running Day!  Even if you're not a runner, today is a good of a day as any to get started.  National Running Day falls on the first Wednesday in June each year.

I started training for the Garry Bjorklund Half Marathon in March.  Running to music is the way I run.  I have a runner friend who can't run with it.  But for me it's essential.

It's difficult to run without my special running playlist.  One of the things I realized through my training is how important some of my songs on my playlist are.  It's the beat.  It helps my rhythm and pace.  It's motivational.  If you're looking for a few good songs to run to, here's what I have playing when I run.  Oh, and please, don't judge.
