Gather up the family and friends to help support the fight against a deadly disease called Scleroderma at Mont du Lac Resort with Tubing to find a Cure on Saturday, March 3rd from 3:00-8:00 pm.

This a great event for the whole family and with the fresh snow and warmer temperatures in the arera it looks like it will be a beautiful day to get outside. Lot's of fun activities are planned including hot chocolate, s'mores, tubing and huge silent auction. Plus live music from Crescent Moon.

According to Scleroderma.org Scleroderma, or systemic sclerosis, is a chronic connective tissue disease . It is is not contagious, infectious, cancerous or malignant and is not genetic but there is a susceptibility gene, which raises the likelihood of getting scleroderma, but by itself does not cause the disease.

The disease does vary from mild to life threatening and there is no medication to treat it or cure at this time. Women are 4x more likely then men to develop the disease between the ages of 25 to 55. With over 300,000 people affected by this disease in the United States it is often misdiagnosed and again symptoms vary.

Please spread the word about this event to help raise money and awareness to help find a cure.
