    Hairball @ Bayfront

It's the Sixth  Annual Party in the Park with everybody's favorite cover band Hairball on Saturday July 3rd, show time has not been announced yet. If you have never seen these guys perform before you are in for a treat, with multiple costume changes and lead singers, they cover the spectrum of every genre of music.

    Mighty Thomas Carnival

The DECC Parking lot will be taken over by the Mighty Thomas Carnival June 29th through July 10th. I have fond memories of bringing the kids there and they had a blast, from the Midway rides like the Giant Pirate Ship and Tilt-A-Whirl, to the huge array of games. Family and adult rides, kids rides, and of course the concession stands. Yum mini donuts, I can smell them now.

    Fourth Fest Fireworks

With the largest Fireworks Display in the state of Minnesota, they are quite the treat from so many vantage points around Duluth. The festivities take place in Bayfront Festival Park with gates opening at 4pm and is free to the public. I would assume you have to pay for parking though. As many of you know parking is at a premium and fills up rather fast, so If you don't have a boat to watch the Fireworks, scope out a spot in advance on one our many hills.
