The Phoenix Coyotes just signed 21 year-old former Minnesota-Duluth goalie Hunter to an entry-level contract.

Hunter was born in the small town of Stacy, MN and now has the chance to make it big. Hunter had one heck of a year helping his team make the Frozen Four Championship. According to NBC Sports, Coyotes' GM John Chayka had this to say about the young goalie:

“We are very pleased to sign Hunter to an entry level contract. Hunter was one of the top goalies in the NCAA last year and he was highly coveted by numerous NHL teams. We are excited to have him join our organization and look forward to watching him develop.”

Big congrats to Hunter for making it this far, and the MIX staff wishes him nothing but the best of luck!
