Unwanted Medication Disposal Available for City of Superior

Have unwanted medications? You can protect your family and the environment by properly disposing of them. Disposal by flushing or throwing in the garbage can lead to water pollution and harm to fish and wildlife. The City of Superior Police Department has a confidential pharmaceutical drop box. Keeping unwanted pharmaceuticals can lead to theft, prescription drug abuse, and accidental poisoning.Things you can dispose of include household prescriptions and over-the-counter medication in any form. Syringes, needles, and thermometers are NOT allowed.
Be sure to cross any names off prescription bottles. Bring to drop box in lobby of police station between 8:00 am and 4:30 pm Monday through Friday. The drop off is completely confidential.
