In his Wednesday press conference, Coach Frazier announced Christian Ponder will get the start against the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field this weekend. The announcement follows a three turnover performance in Seattle against the Seahawks that led to Ponder being benched in favor of Matt Cassel.

Two of Ponder's three turnovers were interceptions, one of which was returned for a touchdown. The other was a lost fumble. Before being pulled from the game, he was 13 for 22 and posted 129 yards and a touchdown.

The Green Bay Packers have already announced they will start Scott Tolzien in relief of the injured Aaron Rodgers in Border Battle II at Lambeau Field this Sunday. The game will kick off at noon.
