The Minnesota Twins have their home opener today against the Seattle Mariners and with the Twin Cities getting nearly 8-inches of snow on Tuesday, the crew at Target Field had the huge job of cleaning it all up.

According to the Star Tribune, "75 Twins employees — from part-timers in the call center to team president staff" used shovels, snow blowers and hot water hoses to remove the snow from every nook and cranny in the ballpark before the first pitch of the season is thrown.

The field and the hot water for the hoses are heated by the nearby Hennepin County garbage burner. First pitch is scheduled for 3:10 pm today (April 5th) and crews will be working up until that time to get the ballpark ready for the fans.
