Water Outage Planned For Parts Of Proctor Thursday

If you live in Proctor, you will want to make note of this.

City officials posted some news to their Facebook page Wednesday afternoon. Two valves need to be replaced and therefore, there will be a water outage.

The outage will begin around 9 Thursday morning and continue until about 6 p.m.

Here are the areas that will be affected:

• 2nd Street from Boundary Avenue to 1st Avenue
• Boundary Avenue from 2nd Street to 4th Street
• 3rd Street from Boundary Avenue to 3rd Avenue

Make sure if you are in any of the areas that are impacted that you fill your water filters before leaving for work. You can also stick to bottled water today as an alternate option.

You will also want to keep in mind that this won't just affect your drinking water. You won't be able to shower or brush your teeth so make sure you make note of that before getting ready for work or planning your day.

You won't be able to boil water either (unless you set some aside this morning. Chinese food it is!
